Description

Squeelings is a mobile puzzle game about spreading happiness. A "squeeling" is a recently-discovered species that survives on nothing but sleep, warmth, and snuggles. Tragically, some of these majestic creatures are feeling kinda sad right now, and they could really use a hug. Someone has to help them. You have been chosen because the squeelings think you're cute. Your job is to cheer them up as efficiently as possible by calculating optimal hugging strategies. It's tough work, but somebody has to do it!

History

Squeelings was originally inspired by Darknet, E McNeill's VR cyberpunk hacking game, when he realized that Darknet's puzzle mechanic would translate well to mobile. E contacted fellow San Diego indie dev Jake Sones, who took over primary development and came up with the cuddly new theme. With the help of other indies (including adorable art from Spanish artist Juan Carlos Cruz Santana), Squeelings was born into our world, hoping to make it a little happier.

Features

  • You get to snuggle with the softest, warmest, fuzziest creatures in the world.
  • It's totally free, with over 300 puzzles, original game mechanics, and a challenge that respects your intelligence.
  • But really, hugging squeelings is its own reward.
